Welcome to the Hurried Child Project website, a platform dedicated to championing the wellbeing of African children!
We’re delighted to have you join us on this vital journey toward nurturing the mental, psychological, social, and developmental health of African children. Here, we confront the pressing issues surrounding hurried practices and the resultant “hurried child syndrome” pervasive in African families.
The hurried child project is multifaceted program that addresses mental, psychological, social, and developmental issues related to hurrying practices and the hurried child syndrome among children in African families. The project is designed to implement interventions at several levels to ensure that the expected outcomes on the African child is holistic, collaborative and sustainable in the immediate, medium, and long term Due to the interrelationship between the actors that contribute to the wellbeing of the African child and family, AMLi has designed dual interventions in priority areas to ensure that a balance is maintained in improving the mental wellbeing and psychosocial outlook of children (men & women) and parents (mothers and fathers) in line with our mission and vision.
